Airline Info:
Two major airports service Dallas: Love Field (DAL), in midtown, and Dallas-Fort Worth International (DFW), in Irving. Love Field is closest to the Dallas Institute and operates as a hub for Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines. Multiple airline options are available at D/FW International.
Directions from Love Field to the Conference Site:
Follow Herb Kelleher Way to main exit. Drive straight on Cedar Springs Rd at light.
Take Cedar Springs Rd approximately 3 miles to Turtle Creek. Turn right. Turn left on Routh. The Dallas Institute will be on the south side of Routh between Howell and Mahon.
A taxi or car service will cost approximately $15 from Love Field to Uptown.
Directions from D/FW International to Conference Site:
Follow the North Airport exit signs. After the exit booth, take Highway 635 East approximately 21 miles to US-75 (Central Expressway) South exit.
Drive approximately 5 miles and take Exit 1B, following signs for N Hall Street. Turn right on Hall. Turn left on State. Turn right on Routh. The Institute will be on the south side of Routh between Mahon and Howell. (Note: there are faster options that use tollroads.)
A taxi or car service will cost approximately $45-60 from DFW to Uptown.
Restaurants:
Uptown Dallas is a dynamic neighborhood housing young professionals. It has a lively restaurant scene. These are a few consistently good options in the mid-price range. The easily accessible Whole Foods grocery has a full deli and salad bar. Consult Trip Advisor for downtown Dallas / Deep Ellum / Bishop Arts if you are feeling adventurous. It has options for every palate and price range.
