Scott Becker

    Scott Becker, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist currently serving as the Director of the Counseling Center at Michigan State University. Dr. Becker has published in Spring and Death Studies, and he contributed the psychological commentary to the recent biography, The Life and Ideas of James Hillman. He is also the editor of the forthcoming Inhuman Relations, Volume 7 of the Uniform Edition of the Writings of James Hillman. Dr. Becker’s areas of interest are informed by archetypal psychology and include trauma, mourning, dreams multiculturalism, and astrology. He has also developed an integrative paradigm addressing the negative impact of technology and social media on neurological development and psychological functioning. (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)
